After the loss of a friend, I awoke from a stressful dream with this song running through my mind. So this song was literally born from a dream state. It's like I grabbed onto it in the dream realm and safely stored it into the piano to later uncover and explore. And explore I did."

Displacing Borders highlights the movement of refugees who traverse waterways. This video includes photographs of refugees along with overlapping video footage filmed at a community on a private lake. The overlapping of imagery intends to blur, erase and deconstruct Colonial and Imperial imposed and policed borders. This video serves as a reminder that freedom of movement is not guaranteed to all and how easily this can be forgotten by those who take it for granted.
